Aliens Teaching Us About God?
This is honestly one of the scariest things I have ever seen popular culture embrace.
Do NOT Go See Spielberg’s New Movie
I looked at the plot online and was horrified. I will not watch channeled demons.
Instead, you might want to read the plot online to teach discernment about what not to watch.
Our culture did this before, and the New Age movement was the consequence. Now one of the most popular directors in the entertainment industry is teaching the channeling of demons as aliens once again.
“This is not entertainment. This is demonic indoctrination.”
Demons in the Old Days…
Professor George Adamski said that he was taught theology by his alien guide. His books became one of the major influences in the New Age movement.
His alien guide taught:
“God and the Devil are one. There is no forgiveness in God!”
Demons Today…
According to Breitbart News’ coverage of Steven Spielberg’s recent CBS interview, Spielberg said Disclosure Day will leave Christians questioning their faith in God.
CBS News also interviewed Spielberg about the film’s exploration of extraterrestrial life and religious belief.
This is not entertainment. This is demonic indoctrination.
Two of the three main characters reportedly possess “psychic” abilities.
“A city meteorologist gains psychic abilities and acts as a conduit for alien communication.”
What Is This Movie Communicating?
From my perspective, the movie communicates several dangerous ideas.
- Aliens are already here, and you can access their knowledge through channeling.
- Reality check: They are demons.
- Aliens can physically link with humans and speak through them.
- Reality check: They are demons.
- Abductions are presented as encounters with cute animals, such as birds, that talk to children.
- Reality check: I have personally spoken to people who have had these encounters, and they are absolutely terrifying.
- If the whole world just listens to these channeled “aliens,” the whole world can be united.
- Reality Check: The Word of God has the real answers.

Our culture increasingly presents channeling, psychic abilities, and communication with non-human intelligences as exciting, hopeful, and even necessary for humanity’s future.
I believe Christians should evaluate these ideas through the lens of Scripture, not popular culture.
